Child Safety Standards

NowHere has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These are our published standards for protecting children on NowHere.Contact: Impressum.

Version 1 · 22 October 2026

Zero tolerance

CSAE and CSAM are strictly prohibited. Violations are removed and reported.

16 and over

NowHere is for users aged 16 and over. Accounts of under-16s are removed.

We report

Confirmed CSAM is preserved and reported to law enforcement and hotlines.

1 · Our commitment

NowHere prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form. We do not allow content, behaviour, or accounts that sexualise, endanger, or exploit minors. This standard applies to every part of the service — activities, profiles, groups, and direct interactions between users.

We comply with Google Play's child safety standards (support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/14747720) and applicable child-protection law.

2 · Minimum age

Age is checked with the date of birth at registration. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we remove it.

If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian.

3 · Prohibited conduct

Creating, sharing, requesting, or possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

Sexualising, grooming, or soliciting minors

Sexually explicit acts involving or directed at minors

Trafficking, endangering, or exploiting minors

Using NowHere to contact minors for sexual purposes

Promoting, trivialising, or facilitating any of the above

4 · How to report a concern

Anyone can report a child-safety concern — even without an account.

By e-mail: write to safety@pvent.app with a link or a description.

Describe what you saw and where, so we can act quickly.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact emergency services first (112 in the EU, 133 for the Austrian police).

5 · How we respond

Child-safety reports are prioritised and escalated immediately — ahead of our 24-hour review window.

Violating content is removed and the responsible account is permanently suspended.

We preserve relevant evidence where required by law.

Confirmed CSAM is reported to the competent law-enforcement authorities and child-protection hotlines (in Austria: police / Federal Criminal Police Office and Stopline.at; NCMEC where applicable).

We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities investigating child exploitation.

6 · Legal compliance

NowHere complies with all applicable child-protection laws, including Austrian criminal law (§ 207a StGB on the depiction of minors) and our obligations under the EU Digital Services Act. We report apparent offences to the competent regional and national authorities.

7 · Point of contact

Our safety contact is the designated contact for child-safety matters and is able to discuss our methods for preventing CSAM and our compliance with these standards.
