NowHere is for users aged 16 and over.
Be honest
Harassment, deceptive activities, and illegal activity result in removal.
You own your content
We display it; we don't claim ownership of anything you post.
1 · Who can use NowHere
You must be at least 16 years old to use NowHere. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian.
2 · Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
One account per person. Do not impersonate others.
You can delete your account at any time.
If we believe your account has been compromised, we may suspend it and contact you by e-mail.
3 · What NowHere does
NowHere helps you turn activity ideas with friends into real plans: suggest an activity, invite people, collect responses, and settle on a time and place. It also shows what is happening near you.
Groups and invitations
You can invite individual contacts or whole groups. Only the people you invite see a private activity.
Responses
Invitees answer in a structured way – for example “Yes”, “Maybe” or “No time” – so the host can see at a glance whether the plan works out.
Public activities
Activities marked as public are visible to other users nearby, who can ask to join.
The meetups themselves happen outside NowHere – we do not organise them. NowHere is in a closed testing phase; features may change or be temporarily unavailable.
4 · Community rules
By using NowHere, you agree not to:
Create fake or misleading activities that harass or endanger others
Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
Use NowHere to organise illegal activity, hate speech, or violence
Impersonate other people or organisations
Collect or share other users' data without their consent
Create multiple accounts to evade a suspension
Whoever creates a public activity is also responsible for the accuracy of its details and for complying with all applicable laws.
5 · Your content
You own everything you post on NowHere – activities, descriptions, your profile picture. By posting, you grant NowHere a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display your content on the platform. We claim no ownership over it.
Content that violates these rules may be removed – we will tell you why.
6 · Moderation and reporting
Report activities or users by e-mail to safety@pvent.app.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Threats of violence or self-harm are escalated immediately.
If we remove content or restrict an account, we tell you why. You can appeal any decision within 14 days at safety@pvent.app.
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent suspension without prior warning.
7 · Liability
NowHere is provided as is. We have no influence over the activities users plan, how they are carried out, or how other users behave. We are not liable for activity content, decisions by hosts, or damage arising at in-person meetups.
Where mandatory Austrian consumer protection law (KSchG) applies, the rights arising from it remain unaffected by these terms.
8 · Changes to these terms
We will announce material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you can delete your account before they take effect. Continued use after that date counts as acceptance.
9 · Governing law
These terms are governed by Austrian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vienna.
As an EU consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
